Vegan burger

  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • salt & pepper
  • 3-4 tbsp flour
  • parsley
  • 2-3 tbsp bbq sauce

In a saute pan heat olive oil over medium heat and saute the garlic and onion until slightly browned.

In a food processor combine onion and garlic with rice and lentils. Transfer mixture to a large bowl and add salt, pepper and parsley to taste. Then add flour or bread crumbs until mixture is thick and you are able to form a patty with your hands.

Heat a large pan over medium heat with oil. Place the patty in the hot pan and cook for a few minutes until golden, Flip the other side and cook until golden. You can add some bbq sauce if you want.
