Ingredients (1-2 servings):

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  1. In a medium saucepan, add water and oil. Heat until the water starts to simmer and remove from heat and add flour, sugar and salt. Whisk until dough is formed.
  2. Place the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle.
  3. Pipe strips of dough into hot oil and fry until golden. Drain on paper towels and then roll each churro in sugar or melted chocolate.

Instead of using 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup flour, you can use 1 cup water and 1 cup flour for more churros.

Ingredientes (para 1-2 personas):

  • 1/2 taza de harina
  • 1/2 taza de agua
  • 1 cucharada de aceite vegetal
  • 1cucharada azúcar
  • 1 cucharadita de sal
  1. En una olla añade el agua y el aceite. Una vez empieze a hervir quítalo del fuego y añade la harina, sal y azúcar y remueve bien hasta que forme una masa.
  2. Pon esta masa en una manga pastelera en forma de estrella y haz los churros.
  3. Añadelos en aceite caliente y fríelos hasta que doren. Ponlos en papel para que absorba el aceite y cúbrelos de azúcar o chocolate.
